Introduction to Die Casting

Die casting is a high-precision manufacturing process used to produce metal parts by injecting molten metal into a mold under high pressure. This process ensures a smooth surface finish, intricate detailing, and superior dimensional accuracy, making it ideal for producing components in large volumes. In cold chamber die casting, particularly suited for materials like aluminum and magnesium, molten metal is poured into a cold chamber and then injected into the mold at high pressure. This technique not only ensures the production of strong, lightweight parts but also reduces the wear and tear on machinery, making it one of the most efficient methods for manufacturing metal components across various industries.

Die Casting at ZDC

At Zahoor Die Casting, we utilize advanced cold chamber die-casting technology to ensure precision and quality in every aluminum part we produce. Our facility is equipped with 12 machines from globally recognized brands like BMC, Buhler, Yizumi, and Sijin. These machines are designed to handle a variety of casting needs, with locking forces ranging from 400 to 800 tons, ensuring we can accommodate both small and large-scale production runs.

The automation features integrated into our machines include auto ladles for efficient material transfer from the furnace, auto showers that spray die-coat lubricant, and auto extractors to streamline the removal of cast parts. These advanced features help us improve cycle time, enhance consistency, and maintain high standards of quality control throughout the process. With our facility’s capacity, we can produce parts with shot weights of up to 6 kg, including intricate thin-walled sections that are lightweight yet highly durable. Our machines also come with various platen sizes, giving us the versatility needed to handle complex molds and challenging part designs with ease.

In terms of production capacity, our facility can produce 500 tons parts per month, enabling us to meet high-volume demands while ensuring timely delivery. This combination of cutting-edge technology, automation, and capacity positions us as a reliable partner for industries requiring large-scale, high-quality aluminum parts.
